Hear is my healthy eating tip number 1:
Write a food diary. Take a week when you keep a small notebook (on your smartphone or tablet is handy) with you at all times and everything you eat or drink (including water) is going to be noted. I suggest to write it in the form of a table with 4 columns:
1. Time of the day
2. What you ate or drank (type of food with as many details and ingredients as possible with quantities)
3. The mood you were in wile eating and drinking that food
4. General comment about that food, like: who cooked, did you like or dislike it, how did you feel after you ate it etc.
Fill in the table for every day of the week.
After you have completed a whole week, the table will reveal a lot and you can reflect on your own eating habits. If you are seeking a professional help, this is a great tool to work with.
